We are designing this site for two purposes. First, we want to maintain a historical record of the renovation of our house. Second, we want a common platform for our friends and family to follow the progress and learn about the project either generally or in great depth. After over two years of planning, we started construction in October 2001. We gutted the entire inside of the house in March 2003. We started the interior renovation in September 2003.   Look at our online photo gallery with around 200 pictures. We regularly add new photos as the construction continues. Check back often! Overlooking Morningside Park in the Harlem section of New York City, at the top of the hill to the left is Saint John the Devine, the largest cathedral in the United States.
